As community concern about sugar increases, industry are increasingly offering beverages containing non-nutritive sweeteners. Our policy recommendations are focussed on the sugar contents of beverages, and our public messaging promotes changing to water. Given the state of the evidence, what should we saying to policy makers about NNS sweetened beverages?
This presentation will overview policy responses to non-nutritive sweetened beverages. It will also provide Australian data on community perceptions on NNS.
