Samantha Solon-Biet
Dr Solon-Biet's research investigates the complex role nutrition plays in mediating various aspects of metabolic health, reproduction, appetite and ageing. A major focus of her research is to explore how dietary balance influences the underlying biochemical and physiological processes that drive metabolic and behavioural responses. Dr Solon-Biet's research works towards investigating and discovering novel nutritional interventions that can delay the development of age-related disease, improve health and reproduction and ultimately extend the length of healthy life. Working at the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney, Samantha is supported by a NHMRC Peter Doherty Biomedical Fellowship and a University of Sydney SOAR Fellowship.
